A significant price jump. I'm not sure how accurate these numbers are but here are the numbers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_7000_SeriesEdit: I realized you can't exceed $300. In that case i recommend the 7790 at the low end since it has similar compute capabilities as the 7850 (according to recent Tomshardware benchmarks).Edit2: Definately a good deal: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/powercolor-deal-coupon-code-newegg,21692.html Thank you. I was just looking at the 7870 Tahiti LE's. I wonder about driver support for them...I'm not sure how AMD does their driver, but they seem off the grid (which I'm totally cool with). Strongly considering the Tahiti LE since that is a really great deal (Thanks for code!). For example, Chaos Group which makes Vray RT even states on there site to go with nvidia, even though they somewhat support OpenGL. http://chaosgroup.com/en/2/vray_features.html (scroll to the bottom)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZmuI2xQp2M (all the bells and whistles are in the CUDA mode, not exactly streamlined for Radeon [or so it seems?]).
